    FAQs

    • What makes Comfort chairs different from other chairs?

Comfort Seating creates innovative chairs with ergonomic features, such as adjustable lumbar support, synchro-tilt recline, and 5D armrests. Incorporating a vast range of customisable features in one seat ensures an ergonomic masterpiece that suits diverse users.

Beyond that, our comfortable office chairs provide unparalleled posture support in all models. With a back that moulds to your spine, regardless of height, experience all-day support. Backed by a 10-year warranty, you can rest assured that your satisfaction is important to us.

    • How long can you sit in a Comfort office chair?

The Ergohuman, Mirus and Enjoy Elite chairs have BS 5459 certification, making them suitable for 24-hour use. It’s ideal for shift work, professional spaces, and home offices.

    • Are Comfort chairs suitable for back pain?

Comfort's ergonomic office chairs feature flexible mesh and adjustable lumbar support, designed to provide all-day posture support. The chair is engineered to alleviate back pain by cradling both the upper and lower back, allowing you to focus on your work without discomfort.

    • How strong is the lumbar support?

All Comfort's chairs have integrated lumbar support to help make them some of the most comfortable office and gaming chairs on the market.

If you want powerful lumbar support in your chair, try the Ergohuman Elite or Ultra models. Its split-back design facilitates aggressive lower back support - ideal for people with poor posture or those seeking a chair to help alleviate back pain. If you are not used to sitting on a chair with proper lumbar support, it can take a few days to get used to the pressure, but hold steady - our chairs have been engineered and certified for ergonomic comfort.

    • How do you adjust the Comfort chairs?

Each chair includes a user manual with simple, user-friendly instructions for making adjustments. If you have misplaced your user manual you can download a user guide from the Downloads section on each chair's website page.

You can also visit our YouTube channel for adjustment videos.

    • What is the difference between the Ergohuman Elite G2 and G1?

The second-generation Ergohuman has many subtle but significant changes to improve overall comfort. From aesthetic refinements, such as a more slimline backrest and a redesigned mechanism, to mesh improvements and new functions such as the forward seat tilt, Comfort has remastered the Ergohuman.

One considerable change is the upgraded mesh. Previously KMD mesh, the Ergohuman office chair now features anti-pilling T168 mesh for better durability. The new mesh provides different stretches for balanced weight distribution across 10 zones: six in the backrest and four in the seat. T168 mesh has a higher yarn count and is weaved for improved tension and elasticity. Not only does this prevent sagging, but it ensures a more comfortable sitting experience.

The improved backrest offers enhanced comfort, and the lumbar support now features adjustable tension so you can fine-tune it depending on your weight and preferences. The backrest has two new height options, totalling six height adjustment settings. The headrest has been placed forward for ease of use and is more functional in all recline positions.

The chair now features 5D armrests with a wider width adjustment, a new armrest tilt feature, and wider pivot adjustments, providing support when using handheld devices, typing at a computer, or reading.

Finally, the seat comfort has been improved. There are four individual zones on the seat alone ensuring a comfortable experience during your workday and beyond. With a more contoured design, the seat frame has been upgraded to reduce pressure in the back of the legs. Users will experience better weight distribution while they’re sitting, minimising discomfort. Users can also tilt the seat forward which helps you lean into your screen - ideal for typists.
